Composting turning waste into new life
Our MSW diversion system targets your nonfood waste stream. We have structured a cost neutral system allowing you to recycle and compost. Conserving today protecting tomorrow
Composting: Highly underutilized alternative to landfill waste processing.
Through our Symbiotic or Comprehensive matrix we source separate and collect divert-able waste. Either structuring direct site recovery or central site pickup.
“Municipal solid waste (MSW) landfills are the third-largest source of human-related methane emissions in the United States, accounting for approximately 14.1 percent of these emissions in 2016″.
“Methane is a potent greenhouse gas 86 times more effective than CO2 at trapping heat in the atmosphere over its 20-year life cycle.” Each tonne of organic waste disposed of as landfill and broken down by anaerobic fermentation releases about one tonne of carbon dioxide equivalents (CO2-e) of greenhouse gases, mostly in the form of methane. The aerobic process of composting does not produce methane because methane-producing microbes are not active in the presence of oxygen.”

Compost Turning Waste Into Life
Composting can be defined as “the natural breakdown of biodegradable materials through mixing, self-generated heating and aeration to form a stable, soil-like material”
Benefits of Compost:
Higher yields. reduced need for inorganic fertilizer, improved soil structure, enhanced water retention, reduced need for pest control. Best of all compost improves the nutrient levels in the food we eat.
